Solo Day in Santa Cruz

After spending Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday driving back and forth between San Jose and Santa Cruz doing shoots with three different models. I decided that Thursday was going to be my solo day just to explore the pier and boardwalk of Santa Cruz. I was able to go where I wanted, take pictures of different parts of the city and buzz the drone around for sunset at Shark Fin Cove.

Santa Cruz was a beautiful city with lots of different things to do. The pier itself was full of life from seafood restaurants to street musicians even the sea lions were entertaining. I ended up stopping in a shop to by myself a sweatshirt and a sticker.

I decided to head north to Shark Fin for sunset because I had gone there pretty much three days in a row prior and never was able to buzz the drone while I was there. I was hoping for some clouds for the sun to light up as it set but unfortunately there were none. However, it still ended up being a gorgeous sunset! The best part was being able to watch the sun itself go down over the horizon. That's something you rarely see in life and it's something I sat and enjoyed rather than tried to capture on camera.
